Manager IR & Management System (Mining Services Company)

  • Provide strategic HR support on operational issues within the business. The area responsibility consist of HRIS, Health Service, Industrial Relations, Remuneration Benefit and Formalities. This includes identifying problems, designing and delivering human capital solutions to ensure department business plans can be achieved.
  • Ensuring that company maintains positive and productive relationships with the employees, also recognize the role of employees, Unions, and Management in the creation of harmonious workplace.
  • Provide legal advices in order to avoid legal prosecution
  • Monitor and evaluate personnel trends, issues and problems within the company which may indicate the needs for policy revision
  • Establish CLA, Company Regulations; Interpretation of Labour Law, Company Regulations, CLA; Legal responsibilities in relation to the management of people; Settlement of labour dispute; Approve termination of employment
  • Evaluates and compares existing company benefits with those of other employers by analysing other plans, surveys, and other sources of information. Plans, develops, and/or participates in area and industry surveys. Analyses results of surveys and develops specific recommendations for review by management.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from Bachelor Degree in Law; Master Degree relevant to the position (preferable); Has minimum 10 years of various roles in HR working in large fast paced business environments at a senior level; Preference given to persons with mining/heavy industry background; dealing with and managing cultural diversity will be an advantage
  • Deployment of HR activities across multi-site operations; Experience in managing and delivering change through a business; Proficient in operational HR/ IR & Law Experience; Significant experience and exposure to Manpower Law and Court process; Expertise and knowledge in Manpower Regulations and Labour Law
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal & written, proficient in computer literacy
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills; good analytical skills; a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
